We also have some tips on the best way to find them so they aren’t a hassle.

There are a ton of items you’ll need to find to complete the Archeology section of your Museum: Anchor, Dino Egg, Fossil, Frozen Relic, Frozen Squid, Kapala, Lava Eel, Skeleton Fish, Sphinx, and it’s the Sunken Ankh.

Each of these items is also used in a quest or gives you the ability to create specific bars that can be used to cast magic around!

How to get and find archeology Items in Forager

There are a couple of requirements that you will want to have before going for all of these items.

You’ll want to have at least one point from each biome open on the map before attempting to collect all of them.

You will also want a highly updated shovel because you are going to have to dig a lot.

You’re going to want the updated shovel anyway because sand becomes a very important resource in the last game and digging is the best way to get it!

To get the Shovel you will need to unlock the Agriculture skill. Grab the Foraging and Gathering skill and it’ll be right below Gathering.

I would recommend upgrading the shovel completely before heading out to find these items, but taking it to the “Nomad Shovel” level is good because you will get sand every time you dig.

What do you need the Shovel for? Well, most of the articles are found by digging into specific Biomes in Dig Spots (little craters found in the ground, they’re pretty obvious).

This is a random drop every time you dig one of these spots, so you may have to dig an entire batch to discover some of these items!

While digging points are going to be the only way to get items, you might as well just be digging around with your shovel to get additional resources.

The other thing that you are going to need is fishing traps placed in each of the Biomes.

Some of these items can only be earned by catching them, and again this is going to be random.

You’ll want to start adding traps around the map in the different Biomes as soon as possible! If you really want to speed things up, you may want to grab the fishing skill that speeds up the catch rate of the trap by 50%.

I don’t really recommend this because it seems like they go down really fast!

If you are absolutely struggling to find one of those items that require digging, then there is another pretty solid option you can try.

There is a structure called Shrine that can be built by unlocking the skill in the magic section of the skill tree.

It gives you two random perks to choose from and can be used every 45 minutes or so.

One of the possible options will grant you a lot of dig points in the exact area of the Sanctuary! Place a Shrine in the Biome of the item you are looking for, and keep trying that option.

Once you get it, you are guaranteed to dig it up.
